2. Temple of the Fates

After a rather disconcerting session with the Fates, you are not sure what to do next. You are about to consult the Quest Stone, when an old woman you hadn’t noticed earlier grabs your arm. “I’ve seen many appear at this temple, but rarely is any granted an audience with the Fates. You must indeed be favored.” She lifts a box up onto the nearby bench. “Perhaps you are the one for whom this box was intended. It has sat here for many months without being claimed or opened. I suspect you will find something of great value, if you can find your way inside.” Feeling overwhelmed with the enormity of your task, you welcome the chance to focus on something as straightforward as opening a box.

You must go now to the altar of the fates, and prove yourself worthy to receive their gifts. Prove that you mean to bring balance to mankind, and they will reveal your destiny, written into the quest stone. Go now, and bring hope to mankind.

Each disk rotates when clicked, and may rotate up to 4 other disks along with it.

There are scratches on each disk to tell you how many disks it will rotate.

Hint #3

The best strategy is to start with the disks that have the biggest impact (5 scratches) and work your way down to the one that rotates only itself.

Hint #4

Start by getting disk 3 aligned, followed by disk 8, followed by disk 2.

Hint #5

Proceed with disk 1, followed by disk 5.

Hint #6

Then 7, 10, 6, and finally 9.
