Use the text messages on the phone to deduce which mercenaries were paired together, and which paths they took.

Hint #2

Based on the first message, you know that Brian is paired up with someone whose name begins with the letter "R".
The captain later asks Ricardo to respond, so we can deduce that Brian and Ricardo are working together as a team.

Hint #3

Everyone exited the tunnel in room A3, and Brian and Ricardo first reported all clear from C2, meaning that B2 and B3 are both safe.

Hint #4

A text from "D" referencing "An" and a later text from "A" referencing "David" tell you they are a team.
They first reported all clear as they were entering B5, so B3, B4 and A4 must all be safe.

Hint #5

Yuri and Oleg first split up in D1, meaning A2, A1, B1 and D1 are all safe rooms.

Hint #6

An and David split up in D5, so that room is safe.

Hint #7

The Captain never heard from Brian and Ricardo again after they split up from C2, so D2 and C3 probably contain deadly traps and must be avoided.

You search the body and find a phone, a folder containing a document, a satellite map, and a strange metal tablet. You add the documents and tablet to your dossier. The phone has a bunch of texts from people searching the catacombs. The conversation stopped just 5 minutes ago. Maybe you're not too late!
