"See you in paradise" seems like an odd catch-phrase for a villain, but nevermind that now. You need to find a way out of that pool, and fast! The water is already ankle deep and rising quickly.

Hint #1

The blocks with handprints are laid out in a 3x3 grid, similar to the numbers on a telephone keypad.

Hint #2

Certain sequences of block presses cause other blocks to be removed.

Hint #3

Dr. Goldberg mentioned seeing you in "Paradise" before she left. That might be a clue.

Hint #4

The strange equations written in the cover of Paradise Lost can be used to determine which sequences remove which blocks.

Hint #5

Once a block is removed, it cannot be used to remove other blocks. Press the block with the red X on it to reset the wall.

Hint #6

The number "3" is not used in any equations, so you should remove that block first.

The "3" block (top right) is removed by pressing the "9" block (bottom right) followed by the "2" block (top middle).

Hint #7

After the "3" block is removed, the "2" block is no longer required, so should be removed next.

The equation that equals 2 is "1+9", so press those two blocks in sequence.

Hint #8

After each block is removed, there is only one remaining block that should be removed next.

The order is as follows: 3, 2, 9, 1, 8, 6, 7, 4, 5
